Our Story.
Afternoon Scent is a Singapore-based company that specialises in candles that look like desserts, and was founded with the idea of promoting self-care and relaxation. We understand that in today’s fast-paced world, people are often too busy to make time for themselves and unwind. That’s where our products come in - we want to provide a way for people to slow down and enjoy the little things in life. We believe that a little bit of self-care can go a long way in improving one's mental health and overall well-being.
Our logo is a combination of the Chinese word "日" (which means "day") and a melting candle, which represents the idea of taking time for yourself and letting go of stress. We also incorporated our initials "A" and "S" to represent our brand.
Most of our products are inspired and designed to look like desserts because we want to create a cozy and comfortable atmosphere, reminiscent of a cafe where we go for brunch. Each of them is carefully crafted to look and smell like a delicious dessert, with intricate details and realistic colours. We believe that the sight and smell of a dessert, from waffles to cakes, can instantly up-lift one’s mood. We use only high-quality materials to ensure that our products not only smell amazing, but also make great decorative pieces for any room in your home.
